(Name) Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars - a non-profit patriotic organization which holds that it is "nobler to serve than to be served." The Order was established in 1919 to promote the welfare of our Nation. Because it clearly is not a self-seeking organization, the Order is widely respected and listened to, throughout all branches of the Government and across the Country.

The Order provides an opportunity for Officers of all of the Federal Uniformed Services to unite in a strong program to promote National Security, Patriotism, Good Citizenship and Service to Country. The organization website is: www.militaryorder.net.

The use of the MOWW logo was approved by the General Staff at the 2008 Midwinter Meeting in Tempe , AZ on February 9, 2008 .

Regions, Departments, States, Chapters and Companions are authorized to use the logo on stationary, business cards, etc. for official correspondence and publicity required to do the organizational business.

MOWW units other than National Headquarters wishing to sell items displaying the logo, such as clothing, name plates, etc. must submit and receive approval from National Headquarters.

Units currently selling items utilizing the logo are authorized to continue, but they must register these items with National Headquarters. Failure to register existing items sold for profit will result in a revocation of the authorization to sell these items.

Units will report to their membership the amount of income from the sale of logo items and how the money is used. Normally this will be done in the unit’s treasurer’s report of meeting minutes.
